Andrea and I sat next to each other in the North Florida Women's Chorale. She had a beautiful voice and sang many solos. We talked and laughed often during rehearsal (probably more than we should have!). I am an insulin dependent diabetic and wear an insulin pump and a continuous glucose monitor, just like her daughter. We often vented to each other about the struggles of living with diabetes (personally and as a family member). Since she has not been at rehearsal, I have missed her terribly; I miss her voice, her smile, her laugh, and her sense of humor (to name a few things).
